Cures to Stop Smoking
There are a lot of gimmicks out there for quitting smoking.
Most of them attack the symptoms not the cause. For example, if you take cough syrup for a sore throat, it makes the throat feel better, but does it cure the infection that made your throat sore? NO
With thousands of studies completed over the last 50 years, it's almost common knowledge that:
- Nicotine is not addictive: smokers become psychologically addicted to their body's REACTION to the nicotine, their body's fighting off the nicotine and other harmful chemicals & toxins.
- Smoking is not an addiction, it's a HABIT, usually started out shakily, like riding a bicycle, then becoming easier and easier until smokers don't even think about it. After years, it's as if the fingers automatically pull out a cigarette & lighter, light up and stick the fag in your mouth, while you're talking, working, playing even solving complex problems and puzzles. It's just like driving: you can listen to the radio, watch other cars, read signs, look for speed traps, plan your week's appointments, etc etc, and you still stay on the road as if your vehicle is on autopilot.
- Cravings are actually PERCEIVED cravings. You just think you have to have a smoke. Tests have proven that if you change your focus, keep your mind consciously working on other, non-related subjects, the perceived craving will dissolve from your thoughts in as little as 10 seconds.
